DDC is looking to fill over 30 full-time vacancies. Entry-level through managerial positions are available.

Class is held in-person, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9pm

Scholarships are available & cover 100% of the class tuition
Graduates will receive certifications from LaGCC
Graduates will be assisted with job placement services, including internships for those who may need additional experience

BMCC Cannabis Security Guard Program - Info Session

+POOL Lifeguard Certification Program
Eligibility:
Must be 15+
Must be willing to complete an in-water Swimming Skills pre-test, an online course (8-10hrs), and two in-person Saturday certification courses (6hrs each)
Program Highlights:
Pre-tests are provided at John Jay College pool
John Jay College pool is located at 524 W. 59th Street, Manhattan
Pre-tests are offered based on self-reported swim levels
Pre-tests are offered between 6pm - 7pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (for the duration of this program)
Swimmers who attempt the pre-test and demonstrate a need for additional skills development are offered Swimming Skills courses
Swimming Skills courses are provided at Leman Manhattan Prep pool
Leman Prep pool is located at 1 Morris Street, Manhattan
Swimming Skills courses are offered between 7am - 8am on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Swimmers who advance through the Swimming Skills course (within the time allotted) will be tested again. If the pretest is passed, the candidate will pass through to the online course and be scheduled for their Saturday courses.
Saturday Certification courses will be scheduled either on 4/27 & 5/4 or 5/4 & 5/11.
All program graduates will be invited to the Lifeguard & Aquatics Career Fair, held on 5/15 and hosted by Henry Street Settlement.
