Cannabis Career Exploration Training and Job Fair

Are you interested in a career in the Cannabis industry?

Apply for a seat in our Cannabis Career Exploration Training & Job Fair, hosted by LESEN, the Cannabis Workforce Initiative (CWI) and the Cannabis Justice & Equity Initiative (CJEI).

Training will cover the industry overall and dispensary / retail basics. Post training, participants will be greeted by employers from the cannabis industry who are hiring for a host of positions.

Are you interested in learning more about reducing arrest and conviction records? Looking for employment after being justice-involved?

You are encouraged to join G.O.L.E.S. to learn more about the following:

  • the NYS Clean Slate Law and other laws that can seal certain information from arrest and conviction records,

  • the NYC Fair Chance for Housing Act and other laws that may protect housing applicants and job seekers from discrimination based on their records,

  • steps to apply for Certificates of Relief and Certificates of Good Conduct,

  • and much more!

Seasonal Hiring Event for Maintenance Workers

Are you interested in a seasonal position?

LESEN Network Partner G.O.L.E.S. is hosting a pre-screening event for job-seekers who are interested in working as a Vacation Relief Maintenance worker with ABS NYC.

Qualified candidates will:

  • have some experience as a janitor/custodian/maintenance worker

  • be able to work a 5p - 12a shift, with some flexibility occasionally on weekends

  • be available for pre-screening on Monday, March 4th @ 10:30a

  • be available for an in-person interview beginning the 2nd week of March
