RSVP: Henry Street Settlement's THAP Certification Training Registration Form
Dear LESEN Members,
Henry Street Settlement is excited to announce a new partnership with Point Source Youth, a national nonprofit dedicated to preventing youth homelessness, to kick-off the Targeted Housing Assistance Program (THAP).
This initiative will provide one-time, flexible cash assistance to approximately 50 young adults ages 18–24 who are experiencing housing instability or are at risk of homelessness, helping them maintain or secure stable housing.
We are inviting LESEN members to identify client-facing staff, including case managers, youth advocates, Train & Earn support staff, intake specialists, and other frontline staff, who may be interested in becoming trained referral partners.
Through this training, staff will learn how to identify eligible young adults, understand the program's eligibility requirements, and make referrals to Henry Street Settlement so that participants in their own programs can potentially benefit from this housing assistance.
Day 1: Tuesday, November 3 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Day 2: Wednesday, November 4 | 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Henry Street Settlement, 265 Henry Street, New York, NY
Staff must attend both days to complete the training and become eligible for certification as referral partners.
